About the workplace

The Social Services Administration in Håbo is responsible for all operations within individual and family care in the municipality. Our areas of operation include, among other things, authority functions for children, young people, and adults, financial assistance, substance abuse and social psychiatry, our youth clubs, labor market initiatives, as well as housing and daily living support. We also work preventively and in close collaboration with other actors to create safety and participation for the municipality's residents.

This position will belong to the Authority Unit for Children and Young People. The unit's target group is children and young people aged 0–18, and in some cases up to 21, who are subject to investigation and follow-up of outpatient interventions and placements. Our unit consists of social secretaries, senior social secretaries, foster care secretaries, and team leaders. You will lead the team for follow-up and investigation of interventions.

The unit is led based on the organization's value base, built on trust, collaboration, and learning, with the aim of continuously developing in our professional roles and developing the operations. We work in line with the new Social Services Act, focusing on increased accessibility and preventive measures, as well as knowledge-based interventions. The administration has also begun implementing Signs of Safety across all areas of operation.

We are facing an exciting phase of development and are now looking for you who want to help lead our operations forward.

Your responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you lead a team of five case workers and work closely with the Unit Manager. Your main responsibilities as a Team Leader are to:

  • Be a present support in daily work and coach employees.
  • Ensure that work is conducted in a legally secure, efficient manner, and in accordance with current directives.
  • Lead team meetings.
  • Be responsible for routines: writing, updating, and following up.
  • Assist the Unit Manager with recruitment, onboarding, and substitute when necessary.
  • Participate in collaboration with internal and external parties.
  • Represent the unit in court for individual cases.
  • Be helpful with statistics, key figures, and system support (super user).
  • Present and participate in individual committees.
  • Follow up on documentation and quality together with the Unit Manager.
  • Be a good role model and ambassador for the operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a Social Worker and have several years of experience working with the target group. Experience with authority functions for children and young people is a requirement. You have had a leadership role in the area and have experience leading other case workers.

You speak and write Swedish fluently and have prior knowledge of BBIC. You should be able to search for relevant information and organize your work based on the operations' goals.

Personal qualities

We are looking for you who are a confident and sensitive person with the ability to create good relationships and build trust. You have a coaching and supportive approach where you are present in everyday life, encourage development, and are available when the team needs you. You are flexible and adapt easily when conditions change. You thrive in a role where accessibility and quick adjustment are part of everyday life, and you contribute with structure, drive, and a solution-focused approach. Together with your colleagues, you create a work environment characterized by collaboration, commitment, and shared responsibility.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Application

In this recruitment, we have chosen not to use cover letters. Therefore, we ask you to only answer the selection questions and attach your CV. Selection takes place after the last application date.
