About the Job
Workplace Description
The Association Framtidståget is a non-profit, voluntary association that has been in existence since 1997. In addition to family home care, we provide open care and have a project department that runs national and international projects. We are a team of engaged employees with a strong sense of community, where everyone has the opportunity to influence and receive support from each other and the Operations Manager.
The guiding principles of the work are competence, accessibility, and flexibility. Working here means responsibility under freedom, dynamism, and joy.
Job Description
Framtidståget offers emergency and family home care for placed children and young people on behalf of the social services. We use the New Kälvesten Method when recruiting emergency and family homes. In your role, you are expected to have continuous supervision with emergency and family homes and participate in meetings with the social services regarding the assignments. The role also includes recruiting new family homes and developing our internal processes to ensure they are maintained and retain high quality.
This is a fast-paced job with varied tasks, often requiring the handling of many parallel processes that demand quick decisions and clear feedback, both internally and externally.
A typical day may involve you, as a consultant, handling requests from the social services, working efficiently on good matches with our families, while more urgent situations may arise in existing assignments that require your full focus and good judgment.
Candidate Description
We are looking for you who want to develop Framtidståget together with us! Working with us means the opportunity to be creative in your work and help create a growing positive development for children and families. We are looking for someone who longs to contribute to a creative team where there is a high level of trust and a wonderful atmosphere.
The role of family homes consultant with us involves supervising, inspiring, and motivating emergency and family homes during placements through us. You should be able to create different contexts that enable change processes for our emergency and family homes, both internally within the department and within the organization.
Your Qualifications
- You are educated as a Social Worker.
- You can express yourself well in speech and writing.
Meritorious:
- Experience with authority practice within child and youth services.
- Experience in family home care.
- Good knowledge of the social services' work.
- Training in BBIC, MI, Signs of Safety, and the New Kälvesten Method.
We have a collective agreement with a pension plan. As Framtidståget is a non-profit association, there are great opportunities for competence development and further education in the form of courses and training.
Working Hours: Daytime, but on-call duty may be added.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting according to the collective agreement.
Location: Stockholm, but business travel may occur.
Driver's License: Own car and driver's license are an advantage.
Application Deadline: 2026-07-15
Start Date: As soon as possible, according to agreement.
