About the role

As the morning and breakfast cook, you are responsible for preparing and presenting an inviting breakfast buffet as well as a delicious lunch buffet for our conference guests. You will work in a calm and scenic castle environment where days are characterized by conferences, meetings, and high service standards.

This role is perfect for you if you thrive with structure, responsibility, and independent work. On some days, you will be solely responsible for the kitchen during your shift, while always having an engaged team to collaborate with.

Working hours

• 06:00 – 14:00
• Work every other weekend
• Flexibility in scheduling

Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange the breakfast buffet
• Prepare and present the lunch buffet for conference guests
• Prepare coffee breaks and catering for conferences
• Cook staff meals
• Ensure high quality, great taste, and appealing presentation
• Contribute to smooth and efficient kitchen operations

We are looking for someone who

• Has solid basic knowledge of cooking and kitchen skills
• Can work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Is structured and has good planning skills
• Thrives in an environment where menus and food concepts are continuously developed
• Has an interest in nutritious food and preferably experience with vegetarian cooking
• Is reliable, positive, and contributes to good teamwork

You do not need to be a formally trained chef. The most important thing is that you deliver consistent quality, take responsibility for your work, and have a professional attitude.
