Cook for Limagården in Väröbacka

We are now looking for you who want to become part of our team at Limagården's kitchen. As a cook with us, you prepare meals from scratch using seasonally adjusted menus and serve delicious and nutritious dishes. You contribute to a kitchen where it is fun to go to work, reduced food waste, and spread joy every day.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays, as our residents need food and care every day of the year, all year round.

You will primarily work at Limagården in Väröbacka, but the role may involve assignments at other units within Food Service and Cleaning.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cooking from scratch
• Baking
• Preparing breakfast and snacks adapted for the elderly
• Preparing special diets and texture-modified food
• Trying out new working methods, products, and recipes
• Self-control for the kitchen
• Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning
• Orders via digital e-commerce

Qualifications

We are looking for you who want to cook with passion and contribute to joy and quality in our kitchens.

• Cooking education, preferably with experience in special diets
• Experience cooking for the elderly is an advantage
• Long-term experience in the culinary profession
• HACCP training
• Good computer skills (electronic ordering and diet data programs)
• Category B driver's license
• Good Swedish language skills (spoken and written)

For us, the right personality is most important! Experience is a big plus, but engagement weighs heavier.
