We are now looking for a dishwasher/kitchen assistant for our restaurant in central Halmstad. This position is suitable for you who have previous experience from the restaurant industry, are accustomed to a fast pace, and understand the importance of efficient dishwashing, cleaning, and practical workflows for the smooth operation of the restaurant.

The work primarily involves dishwashing, cleaning, and providing practical support to the kitchen, bar, and serving staff. You must be able to handle dishwashers, cleaning equipment, and other machinery safely and responsibly. You also need to be able to understand instructions, work independently, and prioritize effectively when workload is high.

The work is varied and may also involve helping with simpler tasks in the kitchen, organizing storage and spaces, carrying goods, arranging furniture, assisting with rearranging for events, and performing other practical tasks both inside the restaurant and on our outdoor serving areas.

Working hours vary and include daytime, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays. Therefore, you need to be flexible and understand that restaurant work often means working when others are off.

• has previous experience from the restaurant industry, dishwashing, or kitchen work
• can work at a fast pace while maintaining order
• is meticulous, reliable, and responsible
• can collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and serving staff
• understands what needs to be prioritized for the restaurant's operations to function
• can take instructions and work independently
• speaks and understands English fluently
• is flexible with working hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends
• is not afraid of physical work, lifting, cleaning, and varied tasks
