We are looking for you to become part of our team at Midsommargården's kitchen

As a cook, you will have a varied job where you are responsible for planning, preparing and serving meals, as well as contributing to a pleasant dining environment. You work both independently and together with colleagues, sometimes at different workplaces, which gives a varied everyday life. The work is characterized by a focus on quality, service and a sustainable approach.

The working hours are scheduled on weekdays, weekends and public holidays when our residents need food and care every day of the week, all year round.

You will primarily work at Midsommargården in central Varberg, but the role may involve assignments at other units within Food and Cleaning.

WORK TASKS

The tasks include, among other things:

• Cooking from scratch
• Baking
• Preparing special diets and consistency-adapted food
• Trying out new working methods, products and recipes
• Self-control for the kitchen
• Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen
• Orders via digital e-commerce

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who want to cook with passion and contribute to joy and quality in our kitchens.

Qualifications:

• Education as a cook or equivalent experience
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and self-control
• Ability to follow recipes, routines and instructions
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Teamwork skills
• Responsibility
• Good computer skills (electronic ordering and cost data program)
• Driver's license

Experience is a big plus, but commitment weighs heavier.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Permanent employment.
Duration: Permanent, start: 2026-08-17 Or by agreement.
