We are now looking for a Meal Assistant/Cleaner with an interest and passion for cleaning services at Peder Skrivare's Gymnasium.

Peder Skrivare's Gymnasium is located in several buildings, and we are now seeking reinforcement with a placement in the reception kitchen in Building 9.

As a Meal Assistant and Cleaner, you will have a varied job where cleaning is a central part. You are responsible for ensuring our premises are clean, pleasant, and welcoming, but you will also be part of the operations in the reception kitchen with serving, simple food preparation, and other kitchen tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning of all premises in the school
• Use of cleaning machines
• Serving of the daily lunch
• Simple cooking (e.g., boiling potatoes, pasta, grains)
• Salad preparation and other kitchen tasks
• Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning
• Self-control within the kitchen and cleaning
• Orders via digital systems

QUALIFICATIONS

You work both independently and together with colleagues, sometimes at different workplaces, which provides a varied daily routine. The work is characterized by service, quality, and a sustainable, ergonomic working method. You have a commitment to cleaning and see the value in a clean and well-maintained environment. You thrive in a role where service and interaction are important.

You work in a structured manner and can handle varying tasks within both the kitchen and cleaning. You are happy to contribute ideas and suggestions for improvement that develop the operations forward.

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Food safety training at upper secondary level or equivalent education
• Pryl or other certified cleaning education
• Computer skills, able to handle simple administrative tasks

Merits:

• Experience in cleaning and floor care
• Experience as a meal assistant
• Category B driver's license

Experience and education are valuable, but we believe that a positive attitude, responsibility, and a strong service focus are just as important to succeed in the role.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Temporary position, start date: 2026-08-17, end date: 2027-08-17.
