About the Role

We are now looking for an enthusiastic Cook or Kitchen Assistant for a seasonal position this summer, 75–100% with immediate start. The position is located at Falkenberg Strandbad, Sandy's Grill & Garden. You will become part of a positive team where the guest experience is in focus, and where we together create memorable dining moments in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to the restaurant's menus and routines.
• Ensure high quality, taste, and correct portion sizes.
• Work efficiently in an open kitchen and collaborate closely with the serving staff.
• Maintain good hygiene, order, and cleanliness according to HACCP and local requirements.
• Receive goods, inventory, and contribute to efficient stock management.
• Participate in menu development and provide input regarding ingredients and seasonal offers.
• Show flexibility by working days, evenings, and weekends during the high season.

Who You Are

• You have experience from the kitchen, either as a cook or kitchen assistant.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment where guests and quality come first.
• You are structured, positive, and accustomed to working in a team.
• You have good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen organization.
• You are stress-resistant, solution-oriented, and have a good ability to prioritize.
• Basic Swedish is required; English is an advantage.
