Sundbyholm Castle is an exclusive hotel located on the southern shore of Lake Mälaren, just outside Eskilstuna and about an hour from Stockholm. With historical roots dating back to the 17th century, the castle has been adapted to meet modern and future-proof restaurant requirements. Peacefully situated next to the castle is the hotel section, offering panoramic views of Lake Mälaren. The hotel features 116 rooms distributed across single rooms, double rooms, and suites.

We are part of the collaboration networks Countryside Hotels, Svenska Möten, and IACC. We are currently looking for:

Sous Chef

Our operations include conferences, parties for corporate clients and private individuals, à la carte dining, and weddings. We work in a fantastic, exciting, and fun environment.

You have a passion for cooking and approach the role of Sous Chef at the castle with the utmost dedication. You are an independent cook and confident in your leadership. You enjoy motivating and inspiring those around you. As a person, you are open, unpretentious, and positive.

In terms of experience, we look for a background in à la carte and/or conference catering, as well as experience in supervisory roles. As Sous Chef, you are a vital part of the team regarding operations, creativity, and quality. You are the Head Chef's right hand and take charge of operations when the Head Chef is not on site.

With finesse and a strong sense of service, you prepare and cook meals of the highest quality for our conference guests, party attendees, corporate clients, private individuals, and wedding guests. We have a fresh and well-equipped kitchen in one of the most inspiring work environments, and we work exclusively with the finest ingredients.
