We are looking for two passionate chefs and an enthusiastic kitchen assistant!

Do you have a passion for well-prepared food and want to become part of a wonderful kitchen team? Fathers House in Strängnäs/Barkaby is expanding, and we are now looking for three new stars for our kitchen: two chefs focusing on traditional Swedish home cooking and one kitchen assistant.

At our restaurant, food is prepared from scratch with love, tradition, and quality ingredients. We offer a dynamic workplace with a fast pace, strong team spirit, and happy guests.

Chefs – Focus on Traditional Swedish Cuisine
You who are applying for the chef position love Swedish culinary traditions and have a solid grasp of classic flavors and techniques.

Your responsibilities:
• Preparing lunch and à la carte dishes with a focus on traditional Swedish home cooking.
• Menu planning in collaboration with the head chef.
• Self-control and maintaining high hygiene standards.

Your profile:
• Trained chef or equivalent documented experience.
• At least 5 years of experience working in restaurant kitchens.
• Meticulous, stress-resistant, and a team player who spreads good energy.

Kitchen Assistant
You who are applying for the kitchen assistant position are the jack-of-all-trades in the kitchen and want to develop in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities:
• Preparation of ingredients (chopping vegetables, preparing sides).
• Assisting chefs during service.
• Dishwashing, cleaning, and maintaining hygiene in the kitchen according to routines.

Your profile:
• Experience from a restaurant or large-scale kitchen is a plus, but your attitude is most important.
• You are efficient, punctual, and take initiative.
• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene.

Both roles have varying working hours. The positions can be full-time, part-time, or hourly-based depending on performance and experience.
