Your Responsibilities

As Chef de Cuisine, you are responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen and lead your kitchen team in their daily work. You work closely with the restaurant operations and play a key role in creating structure and joy in work for your employees.

Examples of tasks include:

• Supervising and planning daily work in the kitchen.
• Scheduling and personnel planning.
• Menu planning based on our food, sustainability, and budget goals.
• Responsible for purchasing and supplier contacts.
• Ensuring good economics and cost control.
• Driving quality work and monitoring the restaurant's standards.
• Responsible for inventory and stock management.
• Ensuring order, hygiene, and adherence to cleaning routines.
• Introducing, developing, and training employees.
• Actively working with leadership, collaboration, and work environment.

In this role, you report directly to the Restaurant Manager.

Your Background and Skills

We are looking for someone who has worked in a similar role previously. You have a genuine interest in food and drink and understand how quality, economics, and guest experience interact in the business. We also look for good understanding of budgeting and cost control, as well as flexibility and enjoyment of varying working hours.

As a person, you are communicative and have an easy time building good relationships with both guests and colleagues. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can maintain calm and make thoughtful decisions even when the pace increases. For you, variety is a positive, and you are motivated by the fact that no day is like the other.

Requirements:

• Experience from the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Experience in supervision or leadership roles.
• Good knowledge of food, drink, and service.

Merits:

• Experience in event work or concept development.
