Blå Huset hotell Umeå AB currently operates seven businesses. We have created concepts and experiences that, with their high quality, can compete with the world's best hotels and restaurants. We offer strong concepts with striking architecture and design.

As a Night Receptionist, you work with the operation of the reception from a hospitality and security perspective. As an important part of the reception team at Stora Hotellet and U&Me, you have an outward-facing role that delivers both service and genuine guest interaction. As a night receptionist, you work seven days and are off for seven days.
Qualifications We are looking for you who have a big smile, a positive attitude, and a genuine engagement with the magic that arises in a successful guest meeting. You understand guests' different needs and expectations and always do your best to meet them, taking every opportunity to convey that little extra and help. We are looking for people who stand out with their good service and take responsibility for operations. You are/also have:
Stress-resistant, solution-focused, and attentive to the guest's needs
Enjoy working at a varied pace
Fluent in Swedish and have good knowledge of spoken/written English
Good prioritization skills
Job Responsibilities
World-class guest interaction
Reception operations, e.g., check-ins and check-outs.
Email handling, bookings, and invoicing.
Handling guest requests and problem-solving.
Managing the Best Western Rewards loyalty program and member recruitment.
Meritorious
Knowledge of the booking systems Oracle Hospitality Opera Cloud PMS
Post-secondary education in hotel/tourism/restaurant/service management
Experience working as a hotel receptionist or similar role with a focus on service and hospitality
Experience working in a Best Western hotel
Familiarity with Umeå as a tourist city
Languages
The position is a seasonal employment/extra as needed, percentage of employment and start date as agreed. The last application date is August 15, we interview continuously so the position can be filled before the final application date.
