About the workplace

Sorsele Municipality's meal service is responsible for providing meals to childcare, schools, and elderly care. The operation is based on a central kitchen where food is prepared, school meals are served, and meals are distributed to reception kitchens and home care services.

In the Blattnicksele reception kitchen, food is received from the central kitchen, finished, and served to both schools and preschools.

Your responsibilities

In the role of kitchen assistant, you will work with various tasks in the reception kitchen. This includes preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Dishwashing, cleaning, daily routines for self-control, and ordering are also part of your duties.

Your personality traits

As a person, you are flexible, responsible, attentive, and stress-resistant. Being a good colleague who is easy to collaborate with is a given. You have good service skills and focus heavily on the customer. With a solid interest in food, you actively participate in continuously developing the municipality's meal service.

Competence and qualifications

You must have food technology education for large-scale catering, equivalent education in kitchen and food, or work experience that the employer deems equivalent. Experience in the service industry and basic knowledge of food hygiene are meritorious. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Duration/Working hours

100% permanent position, start date upon agreement. 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday.

Salary

According to agreement. The municipality applies individual salary setting.
