Do you want to combine operational work in production with leadership and the development of people and processes? Together with our client BE Group Armeringsfabriken, we are now looking for an engaged and driven shift leader who wants to help create a safe, efficient, and quality-focused production.

About the role

As a shift leader, you are responsible for leading and distributing the daily work within your shift team. You become an integral part of the production and work closely with both operators and production management to ensure that the business meets its set goals regarding quality, delivery, safety, and efficiency.

You exercise operational leadership, acting as a support for employees while also participating in the daily production work yourself. The role involves responsibility for production employees in reinforcement manufacturing at BE Group.

Your responsibilities

• Prioritize, plan, and distribute tasks within the shift.
• Ensure that production follows the production plan and set goals.
• Lead and monitor daily work in production.
• Actively work with working environment and safety, ensuring that routines are followed.
• Report and follow up on deviations, incidents, and quality defects.
• Conduct daily management and ensure good communication between shifts.
• Be the first point of contact for employees in the event of machine stoppages and production disruptions.
• Contribute to improvement work regarding quality, efficiency, and process stability.
• Serve as a positive role model and create engagement, collaboration, and involvement within the team.

What we are looking for

We are looking for you who have experience from an industrial environment and thrive in a leadership role close to operations. You are a confident and clear leader who builds trust through presence, structure, and good communication.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, responsible, and able to make decisions even at a high pace. You work methodically, have a strong safety mindset, and are driven by developing both people and processes.

Requirements:

• Fluent Swedish and good English in speech and writing.
• Forklift license.
• Overhead crane license.
• Category B driver's license.
• Experience in leadership or team leading within industry or production.

Merits:

• Experience in improvement work and Lean/5S.
• Experience in production control and monitoring of key performance indicators.
• Good understanding of machine processes and industrial working methods.
• Wheel loader license.
