Positivgården Preschool consists of one department with approximately 20 children aged 1–5 years. The preschool is located in a villa in Hestra. We aim to provide children with a secure preschool experience, where they have the opportunity to develop their language, mathematical thinking, and motor skills through both free play and planned activities. Outdoor visits in our nature-oriented environment take place daily. Our preschool yard has been recently renovated and offers a fun, varied, and stimulating outdoor environment.

We want to give every child a secure foundation. Our philosophy is simple: secure children are happy children!

At Positivgården, dedicated educators offer the children a secure, fun, and educational activity. We work to create creative and educational environments at the preschool where children develop and learn together with the educators.

We strive for an open and trusting relationship with the children's guardians. We want all guardians to feel involved in the preschool's work with the child. The preschool has a parent council that, together with the staff, plans activities and more.

As a preschool teacher at Positivgården Preschool, you, together with your work team and colleagues, are responsible for working purposefully based on the goal description developed by the work team. You should plan, implement, analyze, and evaluate the activity in accordance with current governing documents. The analysis then forms the basis for further developing the activity based on the preschool curriculum and the activity's prioritized goals.

You actively work to promote children's ability to be involved and exercise influence over their education by listening to children's opinions, views, and needs. Your schedule includes time for pedagogical development, which provides space for reflection in the work team, collegial learning, and individual planning.

We are looking for you who have a preschool teacher license, or alternatively have a preschool teacher degree and are awaiting your license, and who want to explore and discover with the children at Positivgården. It is an advantage if you have experience or education in TAKK (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and pictorial support.

As a pedagog, you are engaged, innovative, creative, and see play as your primary tool for lifelong learning. You are a good team player who is skilled at collaborating and is involved in developing the activity. At the same time, you have the ability to work independently and have a positive attitude towards everyone you meet, thereby contributing to creating trusting relationships.

We also see that you have good digital skills, as digital tools are our primary tool for, for example, documentation and systematic quality work.

Within the Preschool Administration, we offer free pedagogical lunches, work clothes, and as a preschool teacher, you additionally have an average of five hours of planning time per week.
