The role of preschool teacher with us

Together with your colleagues, you work together on teaching students in the adapted primary school up to grade 6 in a small group, and participate in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching in school and after-school care based on the students' needs. You play an important role in our collaborative work during the unified school day, and your pedagogical perspective contributes to making learning visible.

You participate in the work of clarifying goals, choosing methods, and creating a learning environment that is understandable and meaningful. The work involves close collaboration with colleagues and requires that you can organize, cooperate, and adapt teaching to changed conditions. You work in a low-affective manner and use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) as a natural part of the interaction.

Your profile

You enjoy working in a group, taking initiative, and driving teaching forward. When you encounter something you don't know, you find out and ensure that what needs to be done gets done. You are unpretentious, humble, and have a strong desire to develop. You are flexible and adapt easily to new conditions. With good pedagogical skills and strong empathy, you can meet the students' different needs.

You thrive in a varied activity, dare to try new working methods, and see mistakes as part of learning. You take in feedback and use it to develop. You also value collaboration and good relationships to create teaching that is understandable, manageable, and meaningful for all students. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a qualified preschool teacher
• has experience working in a low-affective manner
• has experience working with AAC, augmentative and alternative communication

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience with adapted primary school

Our offer and other information

We offer a fixed-term employment (holiday cover) full-time from August 10, 2026, according to agreement. The employment extends until January 31, 2027.
