Vinsta Primary School consists of two units, Östra and Västra, located in Vällingby in western Stockholm. The school is a municipal primary school (grades F-9) with approximately 750 students, distributed with grades F-6 at Östra and grades 4-9 at Västra. Job Description

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher in Natural Sciences (NO) and possibly also in Mathematics. The position involves teaching in all Natural Sciences subjects, primarily at the lower secondary level (grades 7-9). Depending on how we combine the positions, it may also become relevant to teach Natural Sciences in grades 4-6 and to strengthen the multi-teacher system in Mathematics.

The school also has a special education group. It is an advantage if you have experience working with students in need of special support and knowledge regarding Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NPD/NPF).

The role also includes shared mentorship for a class at the lower secondary level.

As a teacher at Vinsta Primary School Västra, collaboration is key. The school's setup ensures that timetables for theoretical subjects run in parallel as much as possible, allowing teachers in the same grade and subject to plan, conduct, and assess teaching jointly. This creates opportunities to differentiate groups for increased goal achievement, ensures equity between classes, and benefits collegial teaching development.

We also have study pedagogues at the school who work closely with teachers regarding mentorship, focusing on measures to promote attendance and work on safety and study environment.

Qualifications

• Teacher degree with a teaching license in Natural Sciences for grades 7-9.
• Advantageous: Qualification in Mathematics for grades 7-9.
