We are currently helping an established property company in Borås find their next Leasing Officer.

About the company:

The company owns, manages, and develops rental apartments across Sweden with the goal of creating long-term sustainable living environments where people thrive and feel safe. As a Leasing Officer, you will become an important part of this work and a central contact person for both prospective and existing tenants.

About the role

As a Leasing Officer, you are responsible for the apartment leasing within your management area and follow the process from first contact to move-in. You work closely with tenants, apartment seekers, and internal functions, playing a key role in creating a positive customer experience and high customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues in property management, leasing, and property technology in a daily routine characterized by variety, independent responsibility, and many contact points.

You will be working with:

• Daily contact with tenants and apartment seekers via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Posting and administering apartment advertisements.
• Planning and conducting apartment viewings.
• Handling terminations and relocations.
• Responsible for contract drafting and associated administration.
• Conducting certificate reviews and background checks.
• Handling matters related to subletting and apartment swaps.
• Collaborating with property managers regarding apartment maintenance.
• Being involved in move-in and move-out processes, such as handling keys, access cards, and nameplates.
• Contributing to ongoing work with activities that strengthen customer satisfaction.
• Participating in customer reception and front desk duties together with other colleagues.

This is a consulting assignment starting in August and planned to last until the turn of the year.

Who are we looking for?

We believe you are a person who enjoys building relationships and trust in interactions with people. You are structured, solution-oriented, and have a good ability to handle multiple parallel tasks simultaneously.

You work independently, take initiative, and are motivated by working towards common goals together with your colleagues.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in customer service, administration, or similar work.
• Experience from the real estate industry, preferably in residential leasing.
• Strong administrative skills and experience working with digital systems.
• Basic knowledge of rental law.
• Experience with Vitec is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Relevant post-secondary education.
