At Järvsögymnasiet, we offer education programs that are strongly rooted in the local area and the opportunities Järvsö provides. We offer the following programs:

• Adventure (Nature Management Programme, specialization in Nature Tourism)
• Animal Care (Nature Management Programme, specialization in Animal Care)
• Business Development (Hotel and Tourism Programme)
• Technology (Technology Programme, specialization in Information and Media Technology)

Your role is to work together with the school leadership and all other staff to develop a new school. This involves building the organization, creating structures, and developing the school's identity. To realize the school's identity, close collaboration with industries and organizations is required. Based on your subjects, you will lead the development of Järvsögymnasiet.

We are currently looking for you who are qualified, skilled, and engaged as a teacher in English and Social Studies. Other subject combinations, such as Swedish, may also be considered. The extent of employment and form of employment may vary depending on your qualifications and subject combination.

We are looking for someone who has a great ability to build good relationships with students, staff, and parents. Naturally, you have high competence in your subjects and see development as an important part of the profession. You must be interested in building a new operation, which involves flexibility, patience, and creativity. You should enjoy collaborating both within and outside the school and have a holistic view of the operations.

Start date: August 2026.
