About the position

At the Colorectal Surgery Clinic, we work with patients who are investigated and treated for colorectal diseases within highly specialized care. Our work is characterized by close collaboration between different professions with the patient's needs at the center.

As a Contact Nurse, you are responsible for nursing, coordination, and continuity for patients within colorectal surgery. You are the patient's fixed care contact throughout the entire care process, from investigation and treatment to follow-up.

The work involves close contact with patients and relatives where you provide support, information, and guidance through the care process. You work person-centered and contribute to creating security and continuity for the patient.

You work in close collaboration with doctors, nurses, and other professions within the unit as well as with other healthcare providers and care levels. The role involves independent work with great responsibility while teamwork is a central part of the assignment.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Swedish nursing license
• At least two years of experience working as a nurse

Merits:

• Experience from surgical activities
• Experience from clinic work
• Contact nurse education 7.5 credits
• Specialist nurse education in surgery
