Within the Forensic Psychiatry area, part of the Department of Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Assistive Devices, we provide inpatient and outpatient forensic psychiatric care in Skåne and employ approximately 400 staff members.

Forensic Psychiatry cares for individuals sentenced to forensic psychiatric care, often with complex psychiatric issues and extensive care needs. The goal is to rehabilitate patients to a life in society with a reduced risk of reoffending.

In Helsingborg, both outpatient and inpatient care are available. Forensic Psychiatry Ward 26 has 14 care beds and admits patients at various stages of forensic psychiatric care, sometimes for extended periods, providing good opportunities for long-term treatment and rehabilitation. RESPONSIBILITIES

At our Forensic Psychiatry unit, you are offered a meaningful and developmental role in a specialized operation where you have the opportunity to both deepen and broaden your competence. As a nurse, you are a vital part of our operations and actively contribute to psychiatric nursing care.

You work together with colleagues and other professions to create safety, structure, and high patient safety for our patients. As a nurse with us, you have a clear leadership role and overall nursing responsibility. You distribute daily tasks between nurses and care assistants and ensure that nursing care is carried out in a structured and patient-safe manner. You collaborate actively with patients and relatives as well as with care partners and authorities, such as the Prison and Probation Service and the police. The position also involves contributing to the ongoing development of the operations. The work is engaging and varied, and you are part of a multiprofessional team consisting of nurses, care assistants, doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers, and medical secretaries. We work closely with social services and other psychiatric units in the patients' network to create the best conditions for care and rehabilitation.

We value a way of working where different competencies complement each other and where professional and respectful treatment is central. Through goal-oriented work, we have created a safe ward environment with very few situations involving threats or violence.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Active participation in daily psychiatric nursing care
• Responsibility for daily routines and nursing interventions
• Documentation in the medical record system Melior

The work is carried out in close collaboration with several professions, where teamwork and a holistic view are central components.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. You have language skills in Swedish, corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

It is meritorious if you:

• have experience working in psychiatry and/or forensic psychiatry
• are confident in somatic tasks, as the nursing role includes broad medical responsibility
• have experience with the medical record system Melior
• are accustomed to working independently
• have a valid B driving license.

You have a professional and ethical approach, contribute to an open work climate, and are positive towards improvement work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
