Your Role

At Advanced Platforms, we are looking for driven Production Engineers who want to help develop the fighter aircraft of the future. We are in an intensive and growing phase, and you should be ready to challenge working methods and processes together with us to develop new technical solutions and build experimental aircraft. At Advanced Platforms, we look at future autonomous flight concepts with supersonic capabilities, where the work consists of technical studies, ground demonstrators, and flying demonstrators. Our ambition is to be an agile organization that performs technology development in fast loops with extensive learning.

As a Production Engineer, you play a key role in shaping the design of our flying demonstrators, with a focus on efficient production. You will drive innovation and challenge existing working methods and regulations. The tasks will consist of industrializing new products and working on continuous improvement together with our production team. In this role, you will, for example, be responsible for:

• optimizing production flows
• developing layouts and workshop designs
• acting as a requirement setter towards the development department and reviewing design documentation
• creating and maintaining production preparations and work instructions
• supporting production with technical questions

Your Profile

You are educated as a Production Engineer or equivalent and have a few years of work experience in production engineering. Knowledge of Delmia and IFS Sharp or other preparation and business systems is meritorious. If you have also worked with balancing and flow simulation, that is a big plus.

As a person, you are driven, independent, and an accountable team player accustomed to working against deadlines. You have a desire to develop and are not afraid to challenge current working methods. You have good communication and collaboration skills and can independently seek the information deemed necessary to carry out a task.

You also have:

• Good ability to function in cross-functional teams/organizations
• Experience in implementing new products into production
• Knowledge and experience of working according to LEAN methodology
• Knowledge of work processes, methods, and tools within production engineering
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
