Do you want to work in a varied and user-centric IT role where you can combine technical troubleshooting with network-related tasks? We are now looking for an IT Technician with a focus on networking for our client in Eskilstuna. Here you will have the opportunity to become part of an organization where service, collaboration, and technology are in focus.

About the role

In the role of IT Technician, you will work broadly within IT support and networking, with a focus on user-centric support and ongoing operations. You will become an important part of the daily operations and be responsible for ensuring a stable and well-functioning IT environment.

We are looking for you who have approximately 1–3 years of experience in IT and who want to continue developing within networking and infrastructure. The role suits you if you thrive in an operational environment where you get to combine technical competence with a high level of service orientation.

The assignment starts immediately and lasts for 6 months with a high chance of extension. Probationary employment applies with Poolia as the employer. Please note that the client will have operations closed during the month of July.

Responsibilities

In the role, you will among other things work with:

  • Onsite support and user-centric IT support

  • Troubleshooting of clients, hardware, and peripheral equipment

  • Networking work and network troubleshooting

  • Configuration of switches, access points, and routers

  • Patching, monitoring, and ongoing management of the network environment

  • Case management, documentation, and follow-up according to established processes

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience with IT support and an interest in networking and infrastructure. You are used to working in a structured manner and understand the importance of documentation and clear processes.

To succeed in the role, we would like you to have:

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role

  • Experience with onsite support and user-centric troubleshooting

  • At least 2 years of experience in networking and network components

  • Experience working with switches, access points, and simpler router administration

  • Good ability to work independently and take responsibility

As a person, you are service-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused. You enjoy helping users, take initiative, and have a professional demeanor in your work.

As our client works with security-classified customers, a comprehensive security clearance check will be conducted upon employment.
