Family Home Consultant – Full-time or Part-time

Casa Omsorg AB is seeking social workers and individuals with a degree of at least 180 credits in social pedagogy, behavioral sciences, psychology, or an equivalent higher education qualification for the role of Family Home Consultant within our consultant-supported family care operations.

Location

We are looking for employees who reside and work in Stockholm County, Södermanland County, Uppsala County, or Gävleborg County.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the recruitment, investigation, supervision, and follow-up of foster homes and emergency foster homes. The role also involves providing support to foster families and collaborating with social services, schools, healthcare, and other actors involved with the child or young person.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience working with children and young people, for example within authority enforcement, residential care facilities (HVB), or consultant-supported family care.

You have good knowledge of social services' work and can work independently while building and maintaining good relationships with foster families, children, young people, and clients. You are secure, flexible, and demonstrate a professional attitude when working with children, young people, and families.

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work or another relevant higher education degree of at least 180 credits in social pedagogy, behavioral sciences, or psychology.
• At least three years of documented experience working with children and young people.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Strong ability to collaborate and document professionally.

Merits

It is meritorious if you have completed Supervisor Training focused on work with foster and contact families, training in the Kälvesten method, or other relevant further education in the field.
