Your Role

As a personal assistant in Nacka Municipality, you support the client in living as independent and self-determined a life as possible, based on the individual's needs, interests, and conditions. The tasks are varied and may include personal care and hygiene, support in daily chores, activities, and contributing to a secure, meaningful, and stimulating daily life.

You primarily work with one client. Working hours vary depending on the client's needs and can be scheduled during the day, evening, weekend, or night. Some documentation is required. As a temporary hourly worker, you work based on the operations' needs and your availability. Of course, you will receive an introduction before you start working.

Your Experience

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• be at least 18 years old
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• have good physical fitness

The following are meritorious:

• experience working in healthcare, elderly care, personal assistance, or child and youth activities
• completed or ongoing education in healthcare or child and youth programs with a pedagogical or social focus
• valid Class B driver's license
• experience with documentation and computers

The Care & Assistance Department is a municipal operation working on behalf of the Social Services and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency in Nacka. We offer support and services to adults, children, and young people with disabilities according to the LSS and SoL acts.
