Then the role of Education Manager at the Clinical Training Centre (KTC) might be right for you.
The Clinical Training Centre (KTC) Region Uppsala is one of Sweden's largest clinical training centres and the region's central organization for clinical training, medical simulation, as well as digital learning and educational support.
The operations take place in modern and functional facilities with a wide range of training equipment. Here, healthcare staff and students develop their skills through practical training – from cardiopulmonary resuscitation and basic clinical procedures to advanced interprofessional simulations in a safe and secure learning environment.
As an Education Manager and physician at KTC, you are a key person in planning, implementing, developing, and quality-assuring educational initiatives for students and staff within Region Uppsala and Uppsala University.
You work in an interprofessional team with high pedagogical competence, contributing medical expertise and clinical grounding. The role encompasses both strategic development work and the practical implementation of training.
In this role, you will, among other things:
We see this role as an opportunity to strengthen the operations with the competence and experience you bring. Therefore, the assignment may cover several different training areas and can be developed in dialogue based on the operations' needs and your profile.
You are a physician with Swedish registration, preferably a specialist. You have a genuine interest in education, learning, and competence development. Experience in teaching, supervision, or other educational assignments is meritorious, as is experience with simulation and team training. You also understand how education contributes to quality, patient safety, and long-term competence supply in healthcare.
You express yourself well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
You are pedagogical and have a knack for creating engagement and learning in others. You work in a structured manner, have good collaboration skills, and enjoy combining strategic development work with operational implementation. You are proactive, flexible, and have the ability to adapt your working style to the needs of the operations.
We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date as agreed.
