Our Operations

The Oncology Section within the Blood and Tumor Diseases area conducts highly specialized care, investigation, and treatment. The section also provides education for various professional groups and conducts research on tumor diseases and new treatments.

At the oncology clinic, there is a highly competent and dedicated team that cares deeply for each other and our patients. You will join a fun, exciting, and developing workplace where we constantly follow the expansive developments within oncology.

Your Role

Contact nurses work at the oncology clinic within different tumor groups, serving as the patient's fixed care contact.

As a contact nurse, you are responsible for providing continuous information, nursing advice, and support to patients and their relatives throughout the entire care process. You coordinate care contacts, follow the patient's care plan, and participate in multidisciplinary teams, with a focus on participation, security, and good accessibility.

We are now looking for an experienced nurse who can work as a resource for us during absences. This means being able to cover various tumor groups, but also to develop our clinic by bringing the experience that comes with this role. We constantly need to improve and develop our cancer care, and now there is a unique opportunity to influence care in the right direction.

Since this is a new position, there are great opportunities to influence both the content and the way of working yourself.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse.

Your Competence

We believe you are an experienced nurse with experience from outpatient care who enjoys driving improvement work. You have a burning interest in doing the very best for our cancer patients. You also have analytical and reflective abilities. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

What We Offer

We offer a fixed-term position (100%) with start date by agreement, until December 31, 2026, with good opportunities for extension. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday. You will also have the opportunity to work remotely.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline ends. We encourage each other to further education and have the opportunity to attend various training courses and programs. Akademiska Sjukhuset offers a wellness allowance of 3,000 SEK per year.
