Reumatology Clinic is Now Hiring!

The Reumatology Clinic is one of several units within the Heart, Neurology, and Rehabilitation area. Our operations are based at Remonthagen, located approximately 2 km from Östersund Hospital. Östersund Rehab Centre also houses a rehabilitation ward, outpatient rehabilitation services, and a pain unit.

The Reumatology Clinic is a specialist clinic for the investigation, care, and treatment of patients with confirmed or suspected rheumatic inflammatory disease. The unit consists of extensive outpatient activities and has access to an inpatient ward at the rehabilitation department when inpatient care is required. Our team is multidisciplinary, comprising doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, medical secretaries, and nursing assistants at our own laboratory. Outpatient care is provided through individual visits, day care, and some group activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Medical Secretary with us, you will become part of a team consisting of four medical secretaries.

The role of Medical Secretary involves working with medical record documentation, other COSMIC-related tasks, waiting lists, mail handling, appointment scheduling, telephone service, referral handling, and to some extent, reception duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as a Medical Secretary. Previous experience in the profession, as well as knowledge of the COSMIC medical record system, waiting list management, booking from waiting lists, and DRG coding, are meritorious.

Personal suitability is highly valued. We are looking for you who have good collaboration skills, the ability to plan and organize your work efficiently, a positive attitude, flexibility, responsibility, and the ability to see the big picture.
