Your responsibilities

As a special needs teacher at Klaraskolan, you contribute your specific expertise to the pedagogical work. You work together with our special educator and our existing special needs teacher within language, reading, and writing development. Together, you form a strong special pedagogical team.

You work at both group and individual levels, and teach students in smaller groups or individually.

You collaborate with teachers and various professionals within student health services in preventive, health-promoting, and remedial work.

In your role, you are responsible for screening and mapping students' needs for special support in mathematics. You analyze the students' results together with the teachers and propose interventions to meet the students' needs at both group and individual levels.

You work with strategies and structures that promote preventive work, and through high expectations and a positive belief that everyone can succeed, you contribute to the progression of students' learning.

We are looking for someone who wants to work closely with teachers on classroom instruction. You have the ability to actively support and humbly challenge teachers in their work to develop teaching methods.

You are well-versed in formative assessment and student-active working methods at the lower secondary school level. You contribute to the dialogue regarding pedagogical and didactic questions and methods and feel confident in the role of supervisor.

You will be involved in the school's quality work and, together with lead teachers, teachers, and principals, you will be part of the school's development group.

Together with students, guardians, pedagogical staff, and other collaborating actors, you create good conditions for students to succeed.

Your qualifications

Educated as a special educator or special needs teacher with a teaching license, preferably with education and experience from the lower secondary school level.

The certificate is free of charge and takes approximately 2-3 weeks for the police to process. Therefore, order it in good time!

The position will be filled on the condition that it is not taken by surplus personnel.
