We are now looking for a Medical Secretary with primary responsibility for PET/CT for the Department of Clinical Physiology.

We are a department with approximately 35 employees within clinical physiology and nuclear medicine, offering a workplace where development, participation, and job satisfaction are in focus.

Working hours: Daytime, Monday–Friday.
As a medical secretary with us, you work with a broad spectrum of administrative tasks, including handling referrals, scheduling, patient administration, telephone service via TeleQ, scanning, document management, and other administrative duties related to the activity.
In the role of medical secretary with primary responsibility for PET/CT, you are responsible for the coordination and administration of the patient flow within the PET/CT activity. You will become a key person in ensuring efficient processes and a good patient experience.
The PET/CT activity is carried out in close collaboration between the Department of Clinical Physiology and the Department of Radiology in Kalmar. The activity will be staffed by employees from both departments, meaning you will collaborate closely with colleagues from several professions and activities. The role involves many internal and external contacts with patients, referrers, and partners.
You will also become part of our administrative team, which today consists of three medical secretaries, one clerk, and one staffing assistant. Together, you are responsible for the department's administrative support and development. We value good collaboration, lack of hierarchy, and a work climate where we support and help each other.
We use Sectra RIS/PACS for referral handling and booking.
We are looking for you who are trained as a medical secretary or a healthcare administrator.
The position requires good knowledge of medical terminology, very good knowledge of the Swedish language (both spoken and written), good telephone etiquette, and strong administrative skills.
Experience from working within clinical physiology, radiology, or nuclear medicine is meritorious. Experience with Sectra RIS/PACS, good knowledge of the Office package, and experience in coordinating or organizing tasks are also meritorious.
As a person, you are structured, responsible, and have good ability to plan and prioritize your work. You enjoy providing service, building good relationships, and collaborating with different professional groups. You are flexible, see opportunities in changes, and want to contribute to the development of the activity.
