About the Department and the Group

The Adult Department consists of 33 dedicated employees who work together to provide the municipality's residents with the right support at the right time. We are a stable and cohesive workplace with a strong focus on quality, working environment, and community.

We are now looking for a Group Manager for our integration and housing group. The group currently consists of two integration case workers who handle the reception of newly arrived refugees, as well as a project employee working with newly arrived residents in the municipality. The group also includes two housing secretaries and a housing coordinator who work with housing issues. We are currently reviewing our organization, which may involve adding 1-2 positions to this group.

Responsibilities

As a Group Manager, you play a key role in the operations. You are responsible for daily line management and support your employees in their tasks. The role involves both personnel, operational, and development responsibilities. Your duties include conducting employee and salary interviews, as well as managing recruitment processes. The role also includes responsibility for operational development within your area, which involves establishing and implementing routines that ensure work is conducted legally, efficiently, and in line with the organization's goals. You value and initiate collaboration, both internally within the organization and externally with other actors.

You are part of the Adult Department's management group, where you, together with other group managers and the department head, contribute to strategic development. We value close, accessible, and non-hierarchical leadership.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in Social Work or a corresponding higher education qualification that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Has experience from managerial and leadership roles.
• Has experience working within Social Services.
• Has experience working with integration issues.
• Has knowledge of housing social issues.
• Demonstrates good proficiency in spoken and written Swedish and English.
