We are looking for you who want to make a real difference – personal assistants for a man in his 70s in Järna

Are you a warm, engaged, and attentive person who is passionate about supporting others in their daily lives? Then perhaps we are looking for you.

We are currently seeking personal assistants for a pleasant man in his 70s who lives with his wife in a villa in central Järna. He lives with MS and has reduced speech ability. He uses various aids in his daily life, and an important part of the assistance is to work actively with training to maintain and strengthen his function and independence.

We are primarily looking for summer substitutes starting immediately – for the right person, there is an opportunity for continued employment later on. The work is scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends, and on-call nights may occur. During daytime training, you will work together with another assistant; at other times, you will work independently.

He needs support with all care and transfers, but he is also a person with many interests and a desire to be involved in his daily life.

He enjoys:

• Being in the kitchen and participating in cooking

• Spending time in the garden and enjoying nature

• Taking excursions and discovering new environments

• Provide support in daily activities with a focus on training and function

• Assist with cooking and other interests

• Join excursions and outdoor activities

• Help with transfers and personal care

The work requires presence, engagement, and a genuine interest in strengthening the individual's own abilities.

• Have experience with personal assistance and are confident working independently

• Have experience with – or feel comfortable working with – people with neurological diseases such as MS

• Are positive, flexible, and responsible

• Have a clear focus on training and maintaining function

• Speak and write Swedish fluently and are accustomed to documentation

Employment level: Days, evenings, and weekends. On-call nights may occur. Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement. Other compensations according to collective agreement. Start date: According to agreement.
