We are looking for you who want to work as a residential support worker this summer.

Do you want to become part of the team of residential support workers and social therapists at Rudolf Steiner Foundation Vårdinge By?

As a residential support worker, you are responsible for the well-being and leisure activities of the main individuals. You accompany them to activities such as swimming, horse riding, and excursions, and assist with daily chores that the individuals cannot manage themselves, such as cooking and cleaning. The work also includes a pedagogical aspect, where you help the individuals train their communication skills and independence in daily routines.

The individuals you will meet have neuropsychiatric disabilities such as autism and developmental disorders. Many also have epilepsy and other additional diagnoses.

Do you have a positive attitude and a drive for personal development?

You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Rudolf Steiner Foundation is a private, non-profit LSS (Support and Service Act) operation with anthroposophical social therapy as its value base. We are licensed by the Inspectorate for Health and Care (IVO). The facility is beautifully located in Vårdinge By, surrounded by forest, lake, and a folk high school.

We would prefer that you have completed upper secondary school with a focus on nursing/health care or alternatively Waldorf pedagogy.

A social therapy education or other training qualifying you for work with people is meritorious, but personal suitability is valued higher than formal competence.

Working hours are scheduled for mornings, evenings, and weekends, including on-call duty with overnight stays.

A collective agreement is in place.

Individual salary setting based on local salary criteria.
