The Social Services Administration is in the midst of a cultural journey where we together develop the social services of the future with a focus on quality, collaboration, and the needs of citizens. We invest in competence development through, among other things, the Professional Journey (Yrkesresan) and work in modern premises in the center of Danderyd.
The Family Department consists of 42 employees and is responsible for the social services' work with children and young people, with the exception of interventions according to the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). We work with legally secure case processing, clear routines, and early interventions to provide children and families with the right support at the right time.

In the role of Social Secretary within the children's group (0–11 years) or the youth group (12–20 years), you will work together in a team consisting of 4 social secretaries in each group on investigations, reports of concern in incoming cases, and follow-up of decided interventions (with the exception of our placed children, for which placement secretaries are responsible). You will also have close collaboration with investigators in the child/youth group, reception, specialist social worker, family therapist, and group manager.
We have the opportunity to offer children and their families the support we believe they need and collaborate well within the administration.
We place great value on legally secure case processing and have documented and easily accessible work routines that are well rooted in the work group you will be working in. All employees are expected to participate in the department's continuous improvement work. We monitor the working environment regularly to ensure that the workload is reasonable and well-being is good. Our well-developed administrative support relieves staff in their daily work. You will also have external supervision every third week together with your colleagues in the respective groups. All new employees receive a good introduction.
We are part of the Socialstyrelsen's Professional Journey (Yrkesresan). The Professional Journey is a concept for introduction and competence development for social services employees. The Professional Journey was developed through a collaboration between SKR, the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen), and Regional Collaboration and Support Structures (RSS).
