The Social Services Administration provides support to the residents of Botkyrka and is responsible for the exercise of authority, primarily under the Social Services Act. The support is provided to both individuals and their relatives. The Social Services Administration has a special responsibility for children, young people, and adults in need of support according to social legislation. We are approximately 500 employees who support the residents of Botkyrka in an equitable, fair, and secure manner using strength-based approaches.

The Position and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Quality Manager for Unit Adult 2, covering social psychiatry, harmful substance use and addiction, as well as housing.

As a Quality Manager, you have an operational and business-close function. Your overarching task is to support the operations with a focus on development and quality assurance of the social services' work towards citizens. You listen to the needs of the operations and provide support to managers, leadership, and employees in their daily work.

The Social Services Administration's quality management positions are located within each of the administration's different operational areas. The Quality Managers work with targeted assignments within their respective specialist areas, as well as administration-wide in collaboration with other Quality Managers.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Support managers, senior social secretaries, and employees in change processes.
  • Work with systematic quality work, quality assurance, and development of the operations.
  • Provide methodological support to managers, leadership, and employees.
  • Plan and conduct training and workshops for the administration's employees.
  • Contribute to targeted assignments within the operational area.
  • Collaborate with other Quality Managers in administration-wide assignments.

In this role, you work both independently and in close collaboration with various functions within the Social Services Administration. You contribute to developing working methods, strengthening quality, and creating support that is useful in daily work.

You who apply to us

For the position of Quality Manager, we are looking for you who have a degree in social work or another university degree that the employer considers equivalent.

You also have:

  • Experience of similar work, such as operation-close development or quality work.
  • Experience of exercising authority within the operational area.
  • Good knowledge of the legislation within which social services operate.
  • Good ability to express yourself clearly in speech and writing.

We consider it meritorious if you have:

  • Basic training in Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • Experience of conducting training, focus groups, and workshops.
  • Experience of process mapping.
  • Experience of change management.
  • Experience of public administration and politically governed organizations.
