Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you will be present in the children's daily lives and part of shaping Sweden's next generation by coaching, challenging, and listening to the child's needs. You can see and nurture the differences and talents of young individuals. Based on the preschool curriculum and other regulatory documents, you are expected to work systematically to ensure the preschool is a safe, fun, and educational place for every child. You have a specific pedagogical responsibility to plan, implement, document, evaluate, and develop the operations together with the work team. You have the ability to build upon children's discoveries and experiences. You develop and renew working methods based on the children's needs and interests.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have education and certification as a preschool teacher.

As a person, you are secure and take active initiative in social situations. You find it easy to create new relationships and maintain contacts. You have a good relationship with colleagues and other people you come into contact with at the workplace. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

To work with children and young people, you are legally required to present an extract from the criminal record register.

Employment Conditions

• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration: Temporary position during the period 2026-08-03 to 2026-12-31.
• Start date: 2026-08-03.
• Working hours: Daytime.

Military Deployment

Permanent employees in Sävsjö Municipality are deployed at their regular workplace in the event of war. In the event of heightened alert, danger of war, or war, the employee must report to their regular workplace. The employer has the right to reassign employees to another workplace within Sävsjö Municipality's organization if the need arises.
