Sandviken Norra Health Centre is one of the region's larger health centres, with approximately 11,000 registered patients. We are a team of around 50 employees working in close collaboration across different professions to promote, prevent, and achieve good health for the residents of western Gästrikland. We value flexibility and personal development, making the job both varied and stimulating.
The operations include a doctor's office, district nurse clinic, Child Health Centre/Family Centre, psychosocial team, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, pool activities, rehabilitation coordinator, medical secretaries, and nursing assistants. Together, we create a holistic approach where the patient is at the center.

As a rehabilitation assistant with us, you play a key role in supporting people in their rehabilitation. You will primarily work within our pool activities, using pool exercises as a treatment method. You will meet patients both individually and in groups, actively working to create a safe, motivating, and inclusive training environment. The role also includes documentation, administration, handling of assistive devices, and other tasks at the clinic. As a rehab assistant, you work under delegation from a physiotherapist.

We are looking for someone with good teamwork skills, who is receptive, communicative, and has an easy time building safe and trusting relationships. You have a good ability to independently structure and plan your work and are willing to take initiative. Since the work may involve sudden changes, we look for someone who adapts easily and sees opportunities in change.
Experience with rehabilitation and water training is meritorious for the position. Experience in primary care and a B-class driver's license are also meritorious. You need to be comfortable working in a swimming hall, which may involve rescuing patients from the water.
This is a fixed-term employment until January 31, 2027, with a possible opportunity for extension.
