We are now looking for a personal assistant who wants to work as a casual substitute for a woman living in Harmånger.

About me

I am a woman who, after a stroke, has developed functional impairments in the form of hemiplegia and aphasia. Aphasia means that my ability to communicate verbally is affected, which makes it especially important that you are perceptive, patient, and attentive to other ways of communicating.

I live in my own home and need support to be able to live a safe and independent life. It is important to me that you, as an assistant, see the person behind the disability and contribute to a positive and respectful daily life.

Job Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you will help me with the moments in daily life that I cannot manage on my own. The tasks may include, among other things:

• Help with personal hygiene and care
• Dressing and undressing
• Mobility and support during activities at home
• Cooking and meal support
• Cleaning, laundry, and other household chores
• Support with communication and social interaction

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a secure, responsible, and empathetic person with a genuine interest in working with people.

You are flexible, can take initiative, and have the ability to adapt to the user's needs and condition. Since the work involves close cooperation, it is important that you are perceptive, patient, and have a respectful attitude.

Experience in personal assistance, healthcare, or social care is an advantage, but great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
