Your Mission
As a System Developer, you will be part of the Technology Department. The department's task is to provide FRA with the technical systems needed for operations. The department develops, procures, and operates new systems, as well as managing the operation and maintenance of existing systems.
You will become part of a development team responsible for the authority's development environment and the digital tools that support development work and operational security. Together, you will create conditions for high quality, automation, and efficient working methods that help the organization deliver value in a safe and sustainable way.
To develop and strengthen these conditions, you will work with introducing, configuring, and managing solutions that simplify the developers' daily work. You will adapt tools to users' needs, contribute to efficient development processes, and ensure that solutions meet the authority's IT security requirements.
The role involves close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, where you act as a key link between technology, user needs, and operations. By identifying needs, driving improvement initiatives, and developing working methods, you contribute to tools and processes continuing to create value, both today and in the future.
To thrive in this role, you have good problem-solving analytical skills, are proactive, and have a genuine interest in developing both technology and working methods. You value collaboration, feel at home in an agile environment, and are motivated by finding solutions that make a difference for both developers and the organization. Travel may occur in the role.

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approx. 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before employment, you will undergo a security clearance in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be placed on war-time staff.
