Your assignment

As a system developer, you will belong to the Technology Department. The department's task is to provide FRA with the technical systems needed for operations. The department develops, procures, and puts new systems into operation, as well as manages the further development, operation, and maintenance of existing systems, in accordance with laws and regulations regarding security requirements for IT systems.

In the role of system developer, you will work on the development of internal systems and functions in consultation with the business and users. Furthermore, you will act as support for daily operations and be responsible for ongoing administration.

The team you will work with is a medium-sized team that works agilely with close collaboration. To thrive in the role, we see that you have a technical interest and are driven by keeping up with technological development.

Travel both within and outside the country may occur.

We are looking for you who have:

• At least 4 years of academic education in computer technology, computer science, or equivalent areas
• Good knowledge of an object-oriented language such as C#, Java, or C
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it meritorious if you have knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Worked in both Windows and Linux environments
• Knowledge of relational databases or NoSQL databases
• Knowledge in JavaScript, WPF(.NET), or equivalent languages
• Knowledge in signal processing or data flow management
• Knowledge in AI/ML techniques
• Knowledge in programming towards hardware-near services and/or APIs

This position will be located either near Drottningholm, approx. 10 min from Brommaplan, or in southeastern Scania. In your application, you will be able to clarify where you are interested in working. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class.
