To the Portfolio Unit, we are looking for two experts who want to contribute to creating structure, quality, and momentum in the Swedish Migration Agency's initiatives and efforts. Here you will work closely with leaders, project managers, and product owners while helping to shape future ways of working.

At the Digitalization and Development Department, we work on developing the agency's operations through digitalization, innovation, and improved working methods. The Portfolio Unit is responsible for planning, initiating, supporting, and monitoring the agency's development activities.

We are in an exciting phase of development where new working methods for development and management are being established. As an expert, you will have the opportunity to influence how future governance, monitoring, and collaboration should function within the Swedish Migration Agency.

What does an expert at the Portfolio Unit do?

As an expert, you work closely with operational leaders and responsible roles to create quality, structure, and momentum in the development work.

Your tasks may include, among other things:

• providing support to project managers, product owners, and other responsible roles
• ensuring the quality of plans, reports, decision-making materials, and other portfolio information
• identifying deviations, risks, and dependencies and proposing actions
• supporting monitoring and reporting at different levels of the organization
• developing and managing working methods, methods, and governing processes
• coordinating and driving improvement initiatives within portfolio management and operational development

The role involves many contact surfaces and close collaboration between operations and IT.

Who are you?

You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and find it easy to collaborate with others. You communicate clearly and adapt your message to the target audience and situation.

You have the ability to create structure in complex contexts and are driven by getting things done. With an analytical approach, you turn ideas into functioning working methods and contribute to development and improvement.

As a civil servant, you are expected to act with good judgment, high integrity, and a strong sense of security and confidentiality. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The ideal candidate has

• several years of experience in qualified work within development, change management, projects, management, or portfolio management
• experience in analyzing, monitoring, or quality-assuring operations
• academic education or other experience that the employer deems relevant for the position
• good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

It is meritorious if you have

• experience in project management, project support, or PMO activities
• experience in product management, management, or operational development
• experience in method and process development
• experience working in the public sector
• experience in reporting and decision support to management

Practical Information

Location: The position is located at one of the Swedish Migration Agency's main cities: Norrköping, Stockholm, Malmö, or Gothenburg.

Remote work possibility: Yes, partially based on operational needs

Employment: Full-time, permanent employment (probation period may apply)

Start date: As agreed
