THE ROLE

As a licensed biomedical laboratory scientist (or equivalent) within Clinical Chemistry, you will become an important part of our dedicated team in Skövde. You will be part of a group that jointly handles our two automated pathways, along with associated and complementary analysis instruments for general chemistry, immunology, coagulation, blood gas, and hematological analyses. The department also includes a pre-analytical function with sample reception and secretariat services. Additionally, we perform protein analyses.

Here, you will enjoy a varied workday with opportunities to develop competence in several areas. You will work independently, responsible for instruments and analytical results, while being part of a tightly knit team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of daily life.

The position involves day, evening, and weekend work and is a permanent full-time position, starting as agreed.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed biomedical laboratory scientist or has similar adequate education.
• Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Education in hematology is considered an advantage. Previous experience in laboratory medicine, particularly clinical chemistry, is also seen as advantageous.

LOCATION

You will work at Clinical Chemistry at Skaraborg Hospital in Skövde, where we currently have a total of approximately 50 employees. Here, a mix of professional groups works with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.
