We are looking for staff for me, a 54-year-old woman with an acquired spinal cord injury and brain injuries. I live in my own apartment with 24/7 assistance.

You must be able to express yourself very well both orally and in writing, as well as have good knowledge of the Swedish language and understand nuances so that no misunderstandings arise.

At my request, I am only looking for female assistants.

It is an advantage if you have an interest in cooking nutritious meals, are accustomed to physical activity, and enjoy going out, as these are some of my interests. I would appreciate it if you are good at navigating and getting around.

I expect you to be physically strong and in good health to cope with the work as a personal assistant.

With regard to my health, I would prefer that you are a non-smoker.

It is of high importance that you can work in a calm environment but also be able to switch pace depending on my daily life. To be considered, you are a responsible person who is calm and stable and can communicate with both me, colleagues, and my family. It is also of high importance that you understand the meaning of confidentiality.

You will work closely with me, with the team leader and my family, but also with other assistants and individually. It is important that you understand the meaning of teamwork and that you have the ability to carefully follow routines and instructions but also be able to take personal responsibility.

The workplace is where I am, mainly in my home, at my friends' homes, and on shorter trips.

All of the above means that the work is very varied and requires that you can juggle many balls at the same time. As a person, you need to be calm, secure, patient, and imaginative. Acquired brain injuries mean that as an assistant, you need to be sensitive and able to read my needs and wishes when I cannot do so myself.

Assistive devices are available in the home. Transfers may occur.

I am now looking for 1 assistant mainly for nights (7-8 nights/month), days (2-4 shifts/month).

1 assistant for 2 day/evening shifts/month.

1 assistant for 2-4 nights/month.

I am also looking for hourly employees as needed when regular assistants are absent.

The working hours are distributed over days, evenings, and nights with 6 hours of on-call duty.

Criminal Record Check

To work as a personal assistant with us, you must present an extract from the police criminal record (442.3). It is important to note that the police processing time can be up to two weeks, so order your record extract as soon as possible. The extract will be requested during a potential interview.
