The position is full-time (100%) and covers daytime and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends. Working hours vary between 10–12 hours on a rolling two-week schedule, meaning you work as many days as you are off.

This role is ideal for someone skilled at reading how another person is feeling. The job may require you to act quickly, as breathing and mucus issues can arise acutely.

Your responsibilities include assisting with suctioning, inhalations, cough assist machines, BiPAP, tube feeding, maintaining good ergonomics, and assisting with transfers to and from various mobility aids.

I am looking for someone who is cheerful, positive, and loves life. I find joy in everything and am not afraid to challenge myself.

My muscle disease, SMA Type 1, means I need help doing the things my friends do. This can range from opening a glue stick cap to pushing my walker so I can ride my roller skates with them. Another activity of mine is swimming and training in the pool, where it is helpful if you can change clothes and assist me in the same changing room. You must be able to speak and understand Swedish, both orally and in writing, as I do not speak any other languages.

You should be attentive to my needs and also able to take the initiative.

Your workplace is wherever I am, and we usually start from my home. A driver's license is an advantage as we live a bit outside the city.

SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) Type 1 is a muscle disease that causes general muscle weakness throughout the body, affecting all muscles, from arms and legs to breathing and throat muscles. The disease has no cognitive or intellectual impact.

As I am a minor, an extract from the police criminal record is required for work within LSS personal assistance. It is an advantage if you have ordered this prior to a potential interview.
