About the workplace

You will belong to the Development Operations, which runs cultural and leisure activities, supports the association life, and develops business life in the municipality. This is a role for you who want to contribute to creating community, growth, and activity throughout the municipality. You will work together with colleagues who all have different specialist areas and experiences, and together we work to make the municipality a more attractive place to live and work in.

Our current Culture and Leisure Director will be on leave to try out a new job, and therefore we are now looking for a person who can take over parts of the operation's administrative tasks and be a support to the director and operations until the turn of the year. Combined with this, the Leisure Leader will also be on leave for half a year to work more focused on crime prevention work for children and young people. Therefore, we are now looking for a full-time position with a combined assignment where you will be an important part of most of what happens within Development Operations.

Your tasks

Your assignment consists of two parts, where approximately half of your working time consists of various administrative tasks and the other half concerns the Leisure Leader assignment.

Operational Support:

  • Association grants and business support
  • Support for the operation in project monitoring such as economy, applications, and reporting
  • Create arrangements for different target groups together with others
  • Communicative efforts

Leisure Leader:

  • Plan, implement, and develop leisure activities together with young people.
  • Create a safe and welcoming meeting place for everyone.
  • Arrange activities, events, and theme evenings.
  • Collaborate with schools, associations, guardians, and other municipal operations.
  • Work promoting and preventive to strengthen young people's well-being and participation.

Your qualities

You are a secure and engaged person who inspires and enthuses others, not least the children and young people you meet. You are flexible, responsible, and enjoy working both independently and in teams. You like administrative tasks and have good structure and order. You are creative, solution-focused, and happy to support others.

Competence and qualifications

We are looking for you who have a completed upper secondary education.

Education or practical experience in economics and project applications/project reporting is meritorious.

Worked with children and young people, in your professional role, through association engagement or equivalent is meritorious.

An extract from the criminal record will be requested.

Other requirements:

  • Category B driver's license
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
  • Good computer skills

Duration/working hours

Fixed-term employment 100% position until 2026-12-31. Start date according to agreement.

Salary

According to agreement. The municipality applies individual salary setting.
