ABOUT THE POSITION
At Aktiv Assistans, we are looking for a personal assistant for our client in central Umeå. We are currently offering a permanent position at 25% with a start date as soon as possible. The work is primarily scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays every other weekend, as well as a few occasional shifts on weekdays.
Working hours may be arranged as follows:
Weekends: 08:00–19:00 or 18:00–07:30/08:00 (on-call duty during the night)
Weekdays: 07:30–18:00
Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could begin the introduction process as soon as possible.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
The client is a man in his 30s with a strong interest in sports, particularly hockey and floorball. He has extensive care needs and requires support in his daily life. As his assistant, you will become a central part of his life, acting as his "start button" to help him engage in activities and maintain an active daily routine. You will also help plan and create structure so that he can get the most out of his days.
Tasks include:
Support with daily routines and household chores
Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing
Stretching and flexibility exercises
ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for someone who is driven in their work and has a natural ability to be attentive and flexible. In this role, you will help our client get started with activities, which requires you to motivate and encourage in an inspiring way.
You are self-assured, possess personal maturity, and are accustomed to guiding others. You take responsibility, are well-organized, and have a good eye for reading situations. Sometimes this means taking a step back and letting the client take the initiative, while you remain in the background as a support.

REQUIREMENTS
Very good knowledge of the Swedish language
Valid driver's license
Non-smoker
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working as a personal assistant
Employment level: 1 permanent position at 25%
Salary: We offer individual salary setting. Other benefits are in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and/or submit a certificate of personal data (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
