ABOUT THE POSITION

At Aktiv Assistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a Personal Assistant now and this summer on a temporary hourly basis for our client in Åsele. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and night with on-call sleeping duties on weekdays and weekends, at the following times:

  • 08:00–17:15

  • 11:30–21:30

  • 20:30–09:30 (5.5 hours waiting time)

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could begin your introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a man who enjoys being out in the forest and nature. As his assistant, you will help him in his daily life and adapt the support to his needs to promote independence and participation. The work as a personal assistant means accompanying and supporting the client wherever he is.

We are looking for a responsible and engaged person who enjoys working flexibly and collaborates well. To fit in with our client, you should also appreciate varied activities and preferably share his interest in spending time in nature. It is an advantage if you understand Swedish, but it is also fine to combine it with English.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working as a personal assistant or other care experience

Employment level: 1–2 temporary hourly assistants

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

Your application will be read by employees at Aktiv Assistans, the client, and relatives. The selection process is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. We warmly welcome your application!

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal data (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.

We recommend that you ensure you have current extracts in accordance with current legislation and the new rules coming into force on March 1, 2026.
