ABOUT THE POSITION
At Aktiv Assistans, we are currently looking for a personal assistant for our client in Umeå. The position is a casual hourly contract, covering absences due to leave or sickness for our regular staff. We would appreciate it if you are also available to work some hours during the summer period. Working hours are scheduled during the day and evening, both on weekdays and weekends.
07:00–15:30
15:30–22:00
Start date is by agreement, and we would prefer if you could start your introduction immediately.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a woman in her late 30s with an interest in interior design, music, fashion, and much more. Due to a neuromuscular disease, she needs support in her daily life.
Responsibilities:
Support with daily routines, such as household chores and cooking.
Assistance with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing.
Mobility and support in tasks requiring motor skills.
Exercise, leisure activities, and social activities.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience with children or work involving children.
Allergy-free (due to allergies within the client's family).
BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in care, social services, or personal assistance.
Valid driver's license and access to a car.
Employment level: 1 casual hourly employee as needed now + during the summer.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Aktiv Assistans, you must have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID document and/or submit a certificate of personal data (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
