At Södra Skolan in Sveg, we are currently looking for a student assistant who can contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment for our students. The school, which has 160 students spread across grades 7 to 9, is beautifully located by the Ljusnan river in the center of Sveg in the eastern part of the lovely Härjedalen region.

Responsibilities

• Support students during lesson time by adapting teaching materials to individual needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure all students receive the support they need to succeed.
• Provide extra help and guidance outside the classroom; for example, with homework or in study groups.
• Be a secure adult figure that students can turn to, also for non-academic questions.
• Organize and lead activities that promote social and emotional development.

Qualifications

• Upper secondary education that the employer deems suitable.
• Experience working with students in a school setting, preferably at the lower secondary level.
• Fluent proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police record) is required for this position.
