Our educational activities are located in our three urban areas: Ramnäs, Virsbo, and Surahammar. This includes preschool, preschool class, comprehensive school, adapted comprehensive school, after-school centers, and youth clubs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher in mathematics or Swedish combined with another/other subjects and who want to work with teaching in a special education group for students in grades 7-9. You plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching for students in a small group who are in need of special support. You contribute to finding aids as well as alternative teaching materials and teaching methods to create good and accessible learning environments in our newly started unit, Smedjan. You will have close collaboration with other teachers and resource pedagogues involved in the teaching. Together, you build an operation where, through clarity and structure, you create conditions for development and learning towards the goals based on the students' individual needs. Close cooperation with guardians and other internal and external actors is part of the daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS

To the newly started unit Smedjan, we are now seeking certified teachers with qualifications in Swedish and mathematics combined with at least one other subject, e.g., English, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences for grades 7-9. Together, you develop and build up the work in our special education group by establishing routines for the operation.

To succeed in your assignment, you must have good leadership skills, be structured, flexible, and self-reliant, where clear pedagogy constitutes a fundamental pillar. You feel secure in creating relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and other actors. You have a positive outlook and believe in every individual's desire to develop and learn. You adapt the teaching to each student's unique conditions and see school development as a natural part of the teaching assignment.

With high expectations, clarity, and a strong belief that all students can develop and reach their individual goals, you contribute to creating an inclusive learning environment. You easily find effective forms of collaboration and see the work team as an important resource. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and the ability to create trusting relationships.

Further education in special pedagogy and/or experience working with students in need of special support, work in, for example, a resource school or special education group, as well as knowledge within the autism spectrum and/or other neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF), are meritorious.
